Last year, this event was the last one on the schedule with Adrian Moreno winning his first career bracelet. The best chance to follow in his footsteps belongs to Christopher Staats, who will be entering the final day as the chipleader (6,715,000). Staats has already over $600,000 in lifetime winnings and a win here would propel him over the $1M mark as well as cement his poker legacy.
Hot on Staats' heels is Erwann Pecheux (6,495,000), an experienced grinder from France. Pecheux already has more than $1.5 million in lifetime winnings and will be one to watch as cards go back in the air at noon.
