Vlad Darie Eliminated in 4th Place ($134,210)

Blaz Zerjav opened with a raise only to have Vlad Darie, the last remaining bracelet winner, three-bet big from the small blind for roughly half his stack. Rokas Asipauskas then four-bet jammed all in from the big, Zerjav folded, and Darie, who had a big portion of his chips already committed, called off for 2.61 million.
Vlad Darie: K?Q?
Rokas Asipauskas: A?K?
Darie was dominated and things got worse when the 9?9?A? flop paired the ace of Asipauskas. Darie needed to catch runner-runner, but the 3? turn took away and chance of that happening.
The meaningless 4? was run out on the river and Darie exited in fourth place, thus ensuring yet another first-time bracelet winner down here at the WSOP Paradise.
