The RunGood Poker Series is making its return to San Diego, California, at Jamul Casino. The $600 Main Event kicks off with the first of three Day 1 flights at 6:00 p.m. local time, with additional flights scheduled for Saturday, November 23. The tournament will culminate on Sunday, November 24.
The last time the RGPS visited San Diego, the event attracted 415 entrants. Derrick Yamada successfully defended his title at Jamul, winning the top prize of $41,550 in the RGPS Main Event.

In addition to the prize money offered at this week's events, there is a series-long leaderboard. The top three finishers on the leaderboard will receive entry into the $5,000,000 ClubWPT Gold Freeroll Invitational at Wynn Las Vegas from December 13-15, along with a $1,500 travel stipend.
Players will begin the tournament with 30,000 in starting chips with blinds at 100/200 with a 200 big blind ante. Day 1 the players will play 30 minute levels, with a 15 minute break after every four levels of play. Registration will close at the start of Level 9. Day 1 flights will end once 12.5% rounded down of the field remains. Payouts will begin on Day 2.
Participants may play in all Day 1 flights. If a player qualifies for Day 2 more than once, they may only play the higher chip stack. The lower stack(s) will be removed from play at the start of Day 2 and receive the lowest Day 2 payout. Day 2 blinds will begin at the lowest level of play during the Day 1 flights. Levels will last 40 minutes on Day 2 until the end of the event.
