Daniel Myers just won back-to-back pots at showdown, which boosted his stack to almost 1,500,000.

First, Myers raised from under the gun and got a call from Juan Pardo in the small blind.

They went to a flop of 8?4?A? where Pardo check-called a bet of 60,000 from Myers, then both checked the 9? turn.

A 4? dropped on the river and Pardo led out for 160,000, and Myers called. Pardo showed K?Q? for just king-high, and Myers' A?10? took the pot.

In the next hand, Jelle Moene opened from the hijack to 60,000 and Myers defended the big blind.

They both checked the 6?2?3? flop to the 5? turn where Myers led for 85,000, and Moene raised to 185,000. Myers called.
