The PokerStars European Poker Tour London continues from the capital of the United Kingdom, and the £25,000 Single-Day High Roller I event will soon get underway at 12:30 p.m. local time.
The one-day tournament at Hilton Park Lane will see each player begin with a starting stack of 100,000, and levels will be 30 minutes each. Unlimited reentries are allowed until registration closes after Level 10. Approximately 15% of the field will be paid and the plan is to play to a winner.
A shot clock will be implemented from the start of the event. Players receive eight 30-second time-bank cards before play, seven cards on Level 1, six cards on Level 2 & 3, five cards on Level 4 & 5, and four cards on Level 6 & higher. On the final table, players will receive an additional five time-bank cards.
At the previous EPT stop in Barcelona, Artur Martirosian was crowned the champion of the 80-entrant field in the first €25,000 Single-Day High Roller after defeating Paul Phua in heads-up play to earn €540,099.
